Vending machines offering free pads and tampons are being rolled out at train stations.
The machines are already across the Geelong region, including the local library, Barwon Health and Kardinia Park.
The Victorian government said the machines would also be installed at train station bathrooms including Flinders Street in Melbourne and Werribee.

It said people can be caught off guard while travelling and access to free sanitary products could make the difference between getting on with the day or going home suddenly.
