Heritage on Film – It’s about us!!
There have been some great things happening in Geelong recently in regards to the screen industry, including the recent announcement of the feasibility study with VicScreen to grow the industry here. Now comes another thing to grab attention of film buffs and heritage nerds alike.
On Saturday 13 June, 3.00-4.30pm, four local film makers will talk about their experiences filming in local heritage locations. It will be an opportunity for film buffs and heritage nerds alike to hear about the delights, and challenges, they faced. Trailers of their movies will also be shown. The last half hour of the 90-minute session will be for mingling over light refreshments.
It is a collaboration between National Trust and the Geelong Library Corporation and will be held on the great 5th floor of the Geelong Library. Our M.C will be Paula Kontelj, OAM. All welcome to attend this relaxed afternoon
