Knit in Public Day

Knit, chat, connect… and celebrate World Knit in Public Day with us!

There’s something special about gathering together with yarn, needles and good company. Join us as we celebrate World Knit in Public Day at Belmont Library for a relaxed and welcoming morning of knitting, conversation and community.

We’ll be knitting squares for a blanket, coming together to create something beautiful that will be donated to support our local community. We’ll provide the pattern — just bring your needles, yarn and a willingness to be part of something collective and meaningful. Spend a couple of hours stitching alongside others who love to create, sharing conversation and contributing to a shared project, one square at a time.

What to bring:

8ply wool or yarn
4mm or 3.75mm knitting needles.
