You are invited to the first Community Meeting of Taking Pride 3214

This is a new resident-led community initiative bringing people together to care for Norlane, Corio and the wider 3214 community.

What started with local residents getting together to clean up rubbish and neglected areas is growing into something bigger — a way for local people to meet, share ideas, contribute their skills and work together on practical things that improve the place we live.

Come along to our first community meeting at Cloverdale Community Centre on Monday 24 August at 6pm.

We’ll talk about what Taking Pride 3214 has been doing, hear ideas and concerns from local residents, and discuss what we can tackle together next.

You don’t have to be able to do heavy physical work to get involved. We welcome people who can help with organising, administration, community engagement, driving, trailers, tools, refreshments, local knowledge or simply lending a hand when they can.

The Mayor and a local councillor are expected to attend. There will be a free sausage sizzle and coffee, and everyone is welcome.
