Wombat’s Walk

Wombat’s Walk is a special community event that brings together the community to walk in memory of a loved one who has died, while raising vital funds for parentally bereaved children across Victoria. All proceeds will help us deliver grief support through our residential weekend program and follow-up counselling sessions children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent.

Every donation makes a difference—each dollar raised directly supports a grieving child through their healing journey.

Wombat’s Wish is a registered charity supporting the 1 in 20 Australian children who experience the death of a parent before they turn 18. Based on the Bellarine Peninsula and operating since 2005, we are the only specialist service in Victoria offering free therapeutic grief programs led by qualified professionals.

We rely entirely on donations and grants to operate, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
