New facilities will be added to the Surf Coast Aquatic and Health Centre in Torquay.
The Victorian government has announced additional funding for the second stage of the project, which will be delivered through the Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.
The facility will now include a dedicated learn to swim pool, indoor splash park and a spa and steam room.

Surf Coast Shire has welcomed the funding, saying the new additions will complement the 25m indoor pool, warm water indoor pool and gym.
Works are due to get underway later this year, near the Wurdi Baierr Stadium.
The centre should be completed sometime in 2026.
