A teenager accused of attempting to hijack a plane at Avalon Airport in March will undergo brain scans.
His court case has been adjourned until October as the teenager can be assessed for a neurological condition.
The 17-year-old is accused of boarding a commercial aircraft in possession of a firearm and making threats that he had a bomb in his bag.

Four weapons charges have been withdrawn.
Police alleged he climbed through a hole in the fence and entered the plane.
About 160 people were on board the plane at the time he entered en route to Sydney, before he was restrained by a passenger and later arrested.
