A local CFA station has reported an attempted break-in.
Stonehaven CFA says someone tried to get into the station around 3.30am Friday, but was not successful.
It has taken to social media, saying a padlock was damaged in the incident.
“It is extremely disappointing to see our station targeted, particularly when our members work so hard to provide a vital service to the community,” it said in a post to Facebook.
“We ask that anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary in the area around 3:30am this morning please get in touch with us.
“The incident has been reported to Victoria Police.
“Thank you to our community for your ongoing support.”
It comes after an attempted ram raid at Shelford Brigade on September 11, with offenders damaging the station’s roller door.
