A bank teller has been injured in an attempted robbery and assault in Geelong’s CBD.
Police have been told the 51-year-old staff member was assaulted after a customer was asked to leave the Westpac on Moorabool Street around 2pm Tuesday.
It is understood the man had been demanding money before the assault.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his face.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
