Aussie rock god Jimmy Barnes will kick off his FOr Working Class Man 40th Anniversary Tour in Geelong.
Australia’s most successful artist – both as lead of Cold Chisel and as a solo artist – will play his Working Class Man album from start to finish as part of 40 year celebrations for the album at Mount Duneed Estate on November 22.
He won’t be alone – with Chisel co-star Ian Moss, Icehouse and Kate Cebrano on support.
Barnsey says the album still has considerable significance in his life.
“For The Working Class Man was such a significant album in my life,” he said.
“I got to make the record with some amazing people, and it really set up the rest of my solo career
“I’m so excited to be celebrating For The Working Class Man with some of my dearest friends and favourite artists.
“And I can think of no better way to mark this milestone than by performing these songs in some of the most beautiful and iconic outdoor venues across Australia.”
Tickets will go on sale for the event early next week, with a pre-sale on Monday, and main sale on Thursday.
