Australian Red Cross Lifeblood has put out an appeal for donors to roll up their sleeves and donate.
In particular, it’s looking for those with types A+ and A- to give blood.
According to Lifeblood, one-in-three of us will need blood in our life time, but only one-in-thirty will donate.

Each donation of blood can save three lives.
There are still 140 appointments available at the Geelong Donor Centre on Ryrie street over the next 7-days.
