Another day of industrial action has been announced, set to impact a number of bus services across Geelong on Thursday July 10.
CDC Victoria drivers have previously walked off the job three times over the last couple of months, though things will look a little different this time.
While previous action has seen the eleven local CDC-run routes cancelled entirely, ten of the services will on Thursday run to a Saturday timetable.
The routes impacted are:
- Route 1: North Shore Station – Deakin University via Geelong City
- Route 10: Lara Station – Corio Village SC via Lara South
- Route 11: Lara Station – Lara East via Rennie St and Lara Lifestyle Village
- Route 12: Lara Station – Lara West
- Route 20: Geelong Station – Corio SC
- Route 22: Geelong Station – North Shore Station via Anakie Rd
- Route 23: Corio SC – North Shore Station
- Route 24: Geelong Station – North Geelong Station via Newtown
- Route 25: Geelong Station – Bell Post Hill
- Route 43: Geelong Station – Deakin University via Highton
Route 19, between Geelong and Bannockburn, will run as normal.
People who plan to travel across the region via bus are encouraged to use the PTV app or website for network status.
Buses are expected to continue as usual from the first Friday service.
