A local council is advocating for more buses between Bannockburn and Geelong.
Golden Plains Shire says the issue will be a top priority leading up to this year’s Victorian Election.
Mayor Owen Sharkey said residents were sometimes forced to take a long road.
“There are examples where the options on the PTV app given to Bannockburn residents is to head through Ballarat, and it’s a three hour turn, which is not something anyone would wish to do,” Cr Sharkey said.
He also called on residents to provide feedback as part of a network review.
“Community consultation like this is so important when we are advocating to be able to have viable data and relatable data heading into an election.”
