Charges have been laid over a police pursuit across Greater Geelong.
A 21-year-old man from Torquay was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a pursuit that tracked across a number of Geelong suburbs.
The chase eventually came to an end in Waurn Ponds after officers successfully deployed stop sticks.

The driver has been charged with the following:
- aggravated reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving (x2)
- dangerous driving while pursued by police
- theft of motor vehicle
- reckless conduct endangering life
- drive vehicle whilst exceeding prescribed concentration of drugs
- fail oral fluid test
- drive whilst disqualified
- fail to stop on police direction
- possess controlled weapon
The Torquay man has been remanded to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court on July 15.
