A Lara man is due to face court today over a crash that left a Corio woman seriously injured.
The 25-year-old passenger was taken to hospital after a car hit a power pole and tree off Synnot Street, Werribee early Monday morning.
She remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The driver, a 26-year-old from Lara, was also taken to hospital.
However he has since been charged with offences including negligently cause serious injury, dangerous driving and drug trafficking and possession.
The man was remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
