Bellarine police have caught a man wanted over the alleged theft of a charity collection tin in Leopold.
It’s alleged two men cut the tie of the tin and removed it at a licensed pokies venue on Kensignton Road around 3:30pm on Tuesday 11 November.
The tin contained over $150 in donations to a breast cancer charity.
A 22-year-old has been charged with theft and bailed to face the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 3 December.
Police have appealed for public assistance as they search for the second male.
