Charged have been laid over a fatal crash at Wyndham Vale earlier this year.
A 43-year-old cyclist died after being struck by a car back in January.
A 20-year-old man is facing a charge of culpable driving and will face the Magistrates court tomorrow.
“It is alleged a Mitsubishi SUV was travelling along Armstrong Road when it collided with a cyclist at the intersection of Black Forest Road about 11.50pm on 24 January,” police said in a statement.
Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run in Werribee last month.
“Investigators have been told a group of people were walking along Margaret Street when a vehicle mounted the footpath and drove at them about 3.45pm on Sunday 10 August,” a statement said.
“The car struck a 15-year-old boy from the Wyndham area who was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries which required surgery.
“The vehicle was driven away from the scene at a fast rate of speed.”
Police have released an image of a car believed to have been involved.
