A 55 year old Point Lonsdale man will front Geelong court today charged over a shooting yesterday morning.
Police say a 37 year old local man turned up at a medical centre with gun shot wounds before being flown to the Alfred hospital in a critical condition.
“Police attended a property on Gill Road and arrested a 55-year-old Point Lonsdale man just before 11am,” police said in a statement.

“He has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury, reckless conduct endangering life, use unregistered firearm, use firearm in a dangerous manner, and use firearm in the commission of an offence.”
It’s believed the men are known to each other.
