Crews called to three morning fires

A woman has been taken to hospital following an early morning unit fire in Wandana Heights.

Emergency services were called to Wandana Drive just after 3.30am, finding the property well alight.

They found the woman at the front of the property.

She was assessed by paramedics and taken to University Hospital Geelong.

The scene was brought under control within 30 minutes.

Fire crews were also called to two blazes in Norlane this morning.

The first was on Brooks Street just before 6am, which was brought under control within 15 minutes.

They were then called to Sparks Road, finding a shed well alight around 6am.

Both fires are being investigated by police.
