Yet another day of wild winds has been forecast to hit the region, with an advice warning put in place.
The Bureau of Meteorology has released a Severe Weather Warning for damaging winds for Tuesday 26 August, which was on Monday evening upgraded to an advice warning.
Parts of the Golden Plains Shire have been included in the warning area, including Bannockburn, Meredith and Shelford.
Northwesterly winds averaging 50 to 60 km/h are likely from early Tuesday morning, with damaging gusts of up to 90km/h.
Winds are expected to drop below warning thresholds during the afternoon.
We may or may not see a bit of rain too, with anywhere between 2-10mm forecast across Geelong and the Surf Coast.
