A severe weather warning in place for parts of the Surf Coast and Otways for damaging winds.
A cold front will cross the state today, bringing with it strong northerly winds.
Gusts of up to 90km/h may be recorded in areas including the Otways.

The Bureau of Meteorology says we can expect a southwesterly change moving into the southwest of Victoria tonight.
Winds will increase later today and evening, before easing during Friday.
Showers are forecast to develop across Geelong today with a top of 21 degrees, however the temperatures will drop to just 12 on Friday.
