Detectives have been called in to investigation a shed fire in Lorne over the weekend, which left one man dead.
Emergency services were called to the property on Howard Street around 8:30am Sunday finding a garage well alight, the man who is still yet to be identified died at the scene.
Police said on Monday morning detectives from Geelong Crime Investigation unit continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire, but at this stage the fire has been deemed non-suspicious.

Investigators say they’re yet to identify the victim, confirming he was not a resident of the property
Meanwhile a man in his 40’s with was taken to Lorne Hospital with upper body injuries in a stable condition.
