A Corio man has been arrested after a police pursuit across Geelong’s northern suburbs.
Police have confirmed today that a Mercedes Benz Coupe was allegedly seen driving dangerously just before midday on Monday.
The 23-year-old behind the wheel reportedly failed to stop for police, sparking a pursuit across Lara and Corio.
Vehicle immobilisation devices were successfully deployed, with the driver, who was on bail at the time, abandoning the car on Walkers Road, Lara.
He was arrested after attempting to flee on foot, with officers confirming he was charged conduct endangering life, reckless conduct when pursued by police and driving whilst disqualified.
