A Belmont man has been arrested, accused of evading police twice in Grovedale.
Police say a man in a white Range Rover was seen driving erratically on the Surf Coast Highway and then on Marshalltown Road just after 9.30am Monday.
The vehicle then hit a curb before stopping on Grove Road, with the driver then running off.

A 42-year-old was arrested shortly after, and is expected to be interviewed on Monday afternoon.
Police say the 4WD is not report stolen.
However they are asking anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage of the incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
