Local young people are being encouraged to get involved in helping design a youth hub in Geelong’s CBD.
The City of Greater Geelong says the co–design process is underway, but it is after feedback from those who will beusing it.
An information session is being held at the proposed site on the corner of Gheringhap Street and Transit Place this afternoon between 4.30pm and 6pm.
Co-design workshops will be held on February 19 and March 13.
The city says it is about getting perspectives on what type of activities, programs and services will be offered.
The council received $400,000 from the Victorian government’s Youth Hubs Grant program.
Anyone unable to attend the information session or workshops can head online to provide feedback here.
