Firefighters have been called to the Geelong foreshare to tackle a blaze underneath Cunningham Pier.
FRV crews were called to Western Foreshore Rd around 9am on Monday, after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported seeing smoke issuing from under the pier.
Firies arrived on scene within five minutes, finding several beams and pylons on fire.

The blaze was suppressed quickly and deemed Under Control at 9:14am.
An FRV spokesperson said firefighters will remain on scene to ensure it’s safe.
The pier’s management company has been contacted for comment.
It follows a fire under the pier in July.
