Strong winds have forced several Melbourne-bound flights to land at Avalon Airport.
Qantas has confirmed the conditions on Sunday impacted several of its flights.
Four were diverted to the local airport, while another two were sent to Canberra.

Virgin Australia also had flights impacted, delaying passenger travel for several hours.
