A first day of free parking in the CBD today.
Drivers will be able to park in any two hour parking bay across the city for free using the EasyPark app.
Every car will be able to use one free park a day, and will still need to adhere to time limits.

The change was announced earlier this year, and included in the council budget.
“This was a key initiative highlighted in our recent Geelong revitalisation forum, to make it easier for locals and visitors to support our vibrant CBD businesses,” mayor Stretch Kontelj said.
“The 2025-26 budget ensures we continue to deliver much-needed services and infrastructure for our community, while reducing our long-term debt.
