More than $26 million is being promised to upgrade two schools on the Bellarine Peninsula, if Labor is re-elected next month.
Member for Bellarine Alison Marchant said the government would spend $13.6 million to support upgrades at Bellarine Secondary College’s Ocean Grove campus.
They include improvements to technology and science classrooms, and wellbeing spaces.
Another $13.37 million is being pledged to Clifton Springs Primary, for major Stage two upgrades, including a new gym, canteen and improved specialist facilities.
“I know how important having a great state government school is to families across our community,” Ms Marchant said.
“Every child deserves to go to a school with great facilities.”
