V/Line disruptions will continue across the Geelong line Thursday morning, with trains out of position following evening commute chaos.

While the rail equipment fault between Wyndham Vale and Little River has been fixed, the Department of Transport and Planning has warned some services may be cancelled, run with reduced carriages, or replaced by coaches for part of the journey.

The 8:31am train from Waurn Ponds to Southern Cross has been cancelled and won’t run at all.
