The SES has been kept busy dealing with hundreds of calls for help as wild weather lashes the state.
Parts of Melbourne have copped a soaking while more than 10mms of rain has fallen in Geelong, with wind gusts have reached up to 65ks an hour.
A severe weather warning was in place for damaging winds and heavy rains earlier this morning, but no longer includes the Geelong area.
