Golden Plains Shire has adopted its financial plan for the next decade.
The council says it’ll help forecast revenue and expenditures while planning to manage it finances between this year and 2035.
Mayor Owen Sharkey says it will help the community to understand the direction of council.

“The financial plan serves as a strategic framework for the responsible management of council’s financial
resources over the short, medium and long term,” he said.
“It provides a ten-year financial projection on how the actions in the council plan are funded to achieve the community vision.”
