A crime scene has been set up in Geelong’s CBD after a man’s body was found in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police were called to Malone Street near Western Beach Road at around 4.30am, finding the body.
Police have closed Malone Street between Mercer Street and Western Beach Road, with the street expected to be shut for some time.

At this early stage the circumstances surrounding the man’s death are unclear however it is being treated as suspicious.
Detectives have been called in and are on scene.
