Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-run in Werribee on Tuesday night
A man and a woman were struck by a car as they crossed Watton Street around 9pm – a blue sedan failed to stop at the scene.
“A passer-by saw the two injured people on the road and went to their aid,” police said in a statement.

“A 33-year-old Point Cook man and a 31-year-old Wyndham Vale woman suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.”
Police have called for anyone with information to contact crimestoppers.
