Three detainees from the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre remain in hospital after a riot at the central Victorian facility.
Three staff members were held hostage during the incident on Tuesday evening but were released uninjured.
Inmates are angry about being moved to the new facility near Werribee after Malmsbury closes.

The central Victoria centre is due to shut its doors later this year.
The new facility at Cherry Creek has already started taking inmates, but has already been plagued by assaults.
The Department of Justice says no staff were injured in the overnight incident.
