Crews have worked through Friday night to extinguish a large building fire in Batesford.
CFA firefighters were called to the property shortly after 6pm to the fire along the Midland Hwy, which is believed to have started in a shed on the property.
A community information message was issued as smoke billowed from the property, with crews staying on scene for several hours to bring the blaze under control.
The fire was under control in just over an hour, but emergency services remained on scene until after 10pm to clean up the incident.
The building fire was still active according to VicEmergency on Friday morning, with emergency personnel likely to still be in the area.
At this stage the fire isn’t being treated as suspicious with the cause to be investigated.
