A learner driver has had his car impounded after being caught speeding in Werribee.
The police helicopter detected a white sedan speeding on Tarneit Road on Wednesday night, following the vehicle to a Werribee address.
Officers went to the home and spoke to a 16-year-old learner driver.

The vehicle, which was registered to the teenager, was impounded for 30 days.
Police say the driver will also be charged on summons on offences including not having an accompanying driver, driving without L plates and other traffic matters.
