The region’s mayoral votes continue tonight with Golden Plains to choose its mayor and deputy.
Brett Cunningham has spent the last 12 months in the top job, with Gavin Gamble his deputy.
The meeting will get underway from 6pm at the Golden Plains Civic Centre in Bannockburn.

Whoever wins the vote, will lead the council to the 2024 Victorian local government elections.
Surf Coast and Wyndham councillors elected their leaders last week, while the Borough of Queenscliffe will hold its meeting on Wednesday night.
Trent Sullivan was elected Geelong mayor for two years in 2023.
