A 48-year-old Hoppers Crossing man has been charged over a series of incidents in Tarneit, North Melbourne and the CBD.
He’s been charged over two car-jackings and an attempted car-jacking.
It was initially reported that he had pointed a gun at multiple people, though it has since been clarified that the weapon was an imitation.

He’s also accused of weapons offences with an imitation fire-arm, assault, threats to kill and aggravated burglary.
The man to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court this morning.
