Police have arrested and charged a 19 year old man with firearms offences after executing a warrant in Wyndham Vale yesterday.
The search of a property on Brassy Street allegedly uncovered a modified slam gun, ammunition, a sword and a quantity of cocaine.
“Officers attended a Brassy Street property about 4.00pm today and executed a firearms warrant,” police said in a statement.
“The property was searched and it is alleged police located a modified slam gun and ammunition along with a sword and cocaine.
“The 19-year-old has been interviewed and charged with prohibited person possess firearm, possess unregistered general category handgun, possess prohibited weapon, possess cocaine, handle stolen goods and possess cartridge ammunition without a licence.”
He’s set to face Wyndham Magistrates’ Court today.
