Police are investigating a late night crash involving an allegedly stolen van in East Geelong.
Emergency services were called to reports a van had hit a pole on Ryrie Street around 11.30pm Wednesday.
The male driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was trapped for a short time.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
