A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in Hoppers Crossing earlier this month.
The 51-year-old man, who remains in hospital, has been charged over the death of the 40-year-old woman on Grevillia Crescent on August 3.
The Darley woman was found with serious injuries inside a house just after 1pm, but she died at the scene.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was seen at the house reportedly acting erratically.
The parties involved are believed to be known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives charged the Hoppers Crossing man on Thursday, who was remanded after a bedside hearing.
