Two people are safe after a lucky escape when their car was nearly driven into the water at Queenscliff Harbour.
The Hyundai Accent was driven over the carpark barrier and off the edge, nearly into the water.
The harbour praising locals who rushed to rescue the pair.

“The good news is both the driver and passenger are completely safe and unharmed,” they wrote on Facebook.
“While there was some damage to the car and the Couta Boat ‘Defiance’, everything is now secure.
“A big thank you to those on site who offered a hand so quickly.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience and remind visitors to take extra care when moving around the harbour.”
