Another reverse vending machine for the Armstrong Creek area as the container deposit scheme continues to gather strength across Geelong.
The Village at Warralily Shopping Centre the latest to gain a machine.
James Dorney, CEO of TOMRA Cleanaway said it was a great outcome.
“Recycling should be simple and accessible for everyone, and this new RVM in Armstrong Creek
reflects our commitment to making that a reality,” he said.
“By providing convenient solutions, we hope to inspire more people to embrace recycling and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
“We’re excited to see the positive impact this machine will have on the Greater Geelong community.”
So far Victorians have gained back more than 82 million dollars from the scheme across the state.
