Police have held an operation in Geelong’s CBD targeting weapons.
It was held on Saturday night, with officers speaking to nearly 1,000 people.
Just one person was found with a knife.

Acting Inspector Nick Ubergang said officers were happy with the results, but works would continue.
“I think the community should be reassured,” he said.
“We’re doing all we can to detect offenders and seize weapons.
“We’re continuing to work to get these weapons off the street and prevent knife harm in our community.”
