A reminder to stay attentive of your cooking after a home in Truganina was severely damaged in an overnight house fire.
The fire was caused by unattended cooking in the garage.
Emergency Services responding to the Angaston Way property around 11.30 last night to find the garage and home involved.

An FRV statement said that “50% of the property has been severely damaged by fire with the remainder smoke and water affected.
“A building inspector will be attending to check the structural integrity of the building.
“FRV Firefighters will be remaining on scene into the morning to continue to undertake fire duties, including extinguishment of hot spots.”
The occupants managed to escape – one person was treated for shock.
