Police have arrested two people after they allegedly stole two cars in Newtown on Wednesday morning.
Officers say the stolen cars were involved in an aggravated burglary on Sandringham Parade early in the morning.
The Police Air Wing was called in to track the cars which were recovered from a property on English Court and another premises on Gellibrand Street about 9.30am.

A 29-year old Corio man and a 29-year-old Norlane woman are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
