Police are hunting an arsonist who may have suffered burns in an incident at Laverton early this morning.
A number of cars had their windows smashed and were set on fire by a group of offenders.
One was seen running away partially on fire.

Another panel beaters across the bay in Mentone was also torched around half an hour earlier.
It is believed the two businesses have the same owners.
