A pedestrian is fighting for life after being struck by a car on a major Geelong road.
Emergency services were called to Latrobe Terrace, near the intersection of Villamanta Street, about 5:50am on Wednesday.
A 68-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with life-threatening upper body injuries, while the driver of the vehicle was uninjured and stopped at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
