Geelong police have continued their crackdown on dangerous driving on our roads.
Overnight policing on Friday night and Saturday morning seeing 17 infringements across the Geelong.
It included one man running a red light at 130ks, then being caught at 150 in a 40 zone.
It also saw a local rider has been lost their bike after being busted riding without a license.
The 25-year-old caught by police across the weekend in Corio without a license.
He was also charged with driving while suspended, not displaying L plates and not wearing hi-vis.
“The common excessive speeds ranged from 15 to 40 KPH over the posted limit,” police said in a statement.
“We certainly intend to ensure community safety, through proactive safety patrols and enforcement of our road rules. These efforts are on-going.”

- 10.10.2025 at 11.40 PM a 26-year-old from Mount Moriac was observed driving through a red light at 130 KPH at Bacchus Marsh Road, before speeding at 150 KPH in a marked 40 KPH zone. The male will appear at the Geelong Magistrates Court on a yet to be fixed date for unlicensed driving, speed dangerous, manner dangerous, careless driving.
- 11.10.2025 at 12.37 AM a 19-year-old male from Bell Park was caught speeding at 101 KPH in a marked 60 KPH zone on the Melbourne Road out of Geelong. The driver (Driving parents vehicle) was issued with an infringement notice – $763 and a 6 month licence suspension.
- 11.10.2025 at 3.00 AM a 25-year-old male from Norlane was caught speeding at North Geelong – 76 KPH in a marked 60 KPH zone. The Ford he was driving was found to be unregistered. The driver was issued with two infringement notices totalling nearly $1450 – 3 demerit points.
